Miranda Lambert Brought to Tears by 7-Year-Old Cancer Patient Mid-Concert (VIDEO)

Do we really need a reason to adore country superstar Miranda Lambert any more than we already do? Well get ready (and grab some Kleenex while you're at it), because this dynamo gave one very emotional performance on September 13. She sang her hit song "Over You" but spent the last few verses holding hands with 7-year-old cancer patient Brooke Hester.

This sweet girl has been battling stage IV neuroblastoma cancer since 2010. She got to sit in the front row at Lambert's concert in Corpus Christi, Texas, and donned a pink cowgirl hat along with a face mask to prevent germs.

Toward the end of the song, the singer got down, held Brooke's hand, and got so emotional that she couldn't sing the verses -- she just held the mic out to the crowd to fill in the words.

The song "Over You" is already an emotional one. It was written by her hubs Blake Shelton and is about his brother who died in a car accident.

It turns out that Brooke almost didn't even make it to the concert for this special moment. Her mom said that she was in a Michigan hospital when the tickets were anonymously donated, but thankfully they got the all-clear to attend.

The family has been sharing the achingly sweet video on their Facebook page, Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Awareness Foundation.

Grab your hankie and tune in around the 2:30 mark to witness the touching moment.

Were you moved by this tender moment?
