New 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay' Trailer Shows Jennifer Lawrence More Fierce Than Ever (VIDEO)

Finally, a full trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is available for our viewing pleasure! It's far longer than all those quick teasers we were privvy to during the past few months, and the full trailer just goes to show how much the series has grown -- both in scope and story. Seriously, some of these effects are super badass.

Now that Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) has been brainwashed, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) is using him as a weapon just like the rebels are using Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence). Though at least the kid is alive. No doubt some kind of rescue mission will go down -- but will he remember anything? And there are lots of quick glances at characters like Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks), Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman), and Margaery Tyrell Cressida (Natalie Dormer). And no, I refuse to stop mixing those characters up.

Intense, right? Considering a majority of HG fans preferred the second movie over the first, it seems the third is stepping it up in yet another major way. No more arenas or little kids fighting to the death -- now it's an actual all-out war with multiple power players involved and thousands and thousands of people being affected.

And Jennifer Lawrence, though she's made headlines for less than desirable reasons recently, looks amazing.

Seriously, who knew a single arrow could take down an entire plane? Pretty cool stuff. And though there's a lot of action jam-packed into this trailer, those who haven't read the books won't be spoiled by the big plot twists in the slightest. Impressive stuff by Lionsgate all around. They sure know how to market a movie.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 opens November 21. See you at the theater!
