Reese Witherspoon's Idea of Date Night Is a Bit Questionable

reese witherspoonDate nights mean different things for different couples. Often, though, they tend to contain dinner out, maybe some wine, a movie, perhaps dancing. That's not Reese Witherspoon's kind of date night though.

Reese and husband Jim Toth incorporate paper, pencils, rulers, and I'd guess some erasers as well. They are the anti-date night date-nighters.

Reese told Us Weekly:

Our date nights are mainly helping our kids with homework. And then, going to sleep.

It needs to be noted that she giggled after the last part. My guess is after the kids -- Ava, 15, Deacon, 10, and Tennessee, almost 2 -- go to bed, Reese and Tim have their own little date night. They can connect, talk just the two of them, watch a movie, enjoy some wine.

I don't blame them for wanting to stay home. If you recall, last year when Jim and Reese were driving home from a party, they got pulled over for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Jim was driving but Reese got real angry at the cops and she ended up getting arrested for defending her man and getting out of the car when the police told her not to. So ... date night doing homework and then putting the kids to bed sounds perfect.

Stay out of trouble, kids.

What do you think of Reese's date night?
