Karina Smirnoff Doesn't Think Julianne Hough Will Make a Good Judge on 'DWTS'

Julianne HoughWowza, is Karina Smirnoff worried about her chances of helping her celebrity partner nab a mirror ball trophy on the upcoming Season 19 of Dancing With the Stars? Because she had some harsh criticism over fellow dancer Julianne Hough's appointment to the judges table after years of being a dancer on the show.

Apparently she thinks it's "unethical" that Julianne is a judge, since her brother Derek Hough is a competitor on the show.

"I think she is a great girl, I've known her for many years," Smirnoff, 36, told Us Weekly. "I think that she is wonderful, gorgeous, and talented, but I don't know if it's ethical that she is judging while her brother is competing."

The 26-year-old dancer and actress was added to the judges table this season, joining veteran judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli

Karina just can't see how Julianne will be able to keep nepotism out of her scores. She continued, "I may be the most fair person in the world, but if my mom is dancing and she trips, I would be like, 'Well, I didn't see that ... hat is my mother, and I will go stand by her side and support her regardless. Do I think it's fair? No. But it is a TV show. That is what we have to remember. It's not necessarily the Bible, it's just a TV show."

Hmmm ... maybe Karina doesn't have a brother, because if anything, we should be worried that she'll mark him down more than necessary. There's no love like sibling love, after all.

Do you think Karina is right about it being unethical for Julianne Hough to judge?
