Beyonce Wants Gwyneth Paltrow to Guide Her Through Jay Z Divorce

Jay Z BeyonceNo one does divorce better than Gwyneth Paltrow. I mean, did she even separate from Chris Martin? The two are constantly seen together, looking quite cozy, despite her supposedly dating Brad Falchuk, co-creator of Glee, and him supposedly dating Jennifer Lawrence (I'll believe it when I see it). So who better for the next big celebrity who is rumored to be planning divorce to turn to when the marriage hits the fan? Yes, Beyonce is looking to pal Gwynnie to guide her through her upcoming split from Jay Z. Because why break up when you can consciously uncouple?

A source tells US Weekly that Bey has been asking Gwyneth to guide her through her split from Jay Z, which is supposed to happen when they conclude their On The Run tour in the fall. (If that doesn't happen, we'll all have egg on our faces, won't we?)

First up in a "conscious uncoupling" -- letting everyone know that you're still buddy-buddy wubby-wubby with your kinda-ex-husband. Says the source:

The day after the announcement, Bey and Jay will be spotted together. The two will be all lovey-dovey.

Oh, fahcrissakes, people. Sure, an amicable split is preferable to a bitter one, especially when there is a child involved. But there is such a thing as denial. If you're really splitting with your husband because he cheated (such is the rumor with Jayonce), why not just acknowledge your feelings? Be real about it? At this point, I'm totally hankering for those breakups of yore, the really nasty ones like Kelsey and Camille Grammer or Kate and Jon Gosselin. Sigh. Those were the days.

So I guess we can expect lots of "loving family" Instagram posts from Bey after the split (if it happens) and a public statement along the lines of "We continue to have the utmost love and respect for one another and Blue Ivy remains our first priority as we gently and seamlessly co-parent whilst continuing to invite each other to barbecues, where we will respectfully introduce each other to new significant others as is timely and proper. No tires have been slashed in this announcement."

Do you think consciously uncoupling is the way to go?
