'Glee' Star Chris Colfer Plays Coy on Lea Michele & Naya Rivera's Love Lives

Chris ColferOne of the greatest things about Kurt Hummel on Glee is just how gosh darn diplomatic he is. A friend to everyone, it's hard to imagine him even harming a flea. Apparently that isn't too far from the actor who plays him, because Chris Colfer has nothing but kind words to say about two of his co-stars' very controversial love lives.

Colfer stopped by Access Hollywood on Wednesday, July 30, and dished to Billy Bush and guest host Jack Osbourne about both Naya Rivera's surprise wedding to Ryan Dorsey, and Lea Michele's gigolo escort love coach boyfriend Matthew Paetz.

When asked if he had been invited to Rivera's July 19 wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Colfer admitted that like the rest of us common-folk, he wasn't even aware it was happening until after the fact.

"No! I didn't know! But I was very happy for her," the 24-year-old actor said. "They are a cute couple. I think she's very happy."

When asked if he'd spoken to his co-star since she became Mrs. Dorsey, Colfer responded, "I said, 'Congratulations, that's great.' I didn't know it was real at first. I wasn't sure if I should congratulate because you never know what's real anymore."

And then of course he was asked about Lea Michele's first public romance since her long-time love and fellow Glee star Cory Monteith died of a drug overdose in June 2013. The triple-threat actress has reportedly been dating Matthew Paetz for a few months now, and word around the rumor mill is that he's professionally dated women. If you, uh, know what I mean.

Colfer didn't have anything to say about that, because duh, he's way too classy to bring it up, but he did have some kind words to say. "I have not met him but I remember her talking about him," he said of Michele. "I'm very happy for her."

Awww! We can't help but love this guy.

Do you think Chris Colfer was just being diplomatic about his co-stars, or is he genuinely a super nice guy?
