'Game of Thrones' Actress Slams Airline for Not Breaking the Rules for Her

Maisie WilliamsWhat did we used to do for entertainment back in the days before celebrities had Twitter accounts for our stalking pleasures? 17-year-old actress Maisie Williams recently blasted British Airways for their business class lounge policy, which prohibits anyone under the age of 18 from entering.

The underage Game of Thrones actress was quite peeved at the seemingly arbitrary rule which kept her out of the VIP area, and showing the feistiness often attributed to her GoT character Arya Stark, she wasn't about to suffer in silence.

Maisie went on quite the Twitter rant against the airline over the weekend:

You know ... the girl has a point. Too bad the airline didn't see it. They tweeted back to the begrudged star, "Hi Maisie. We're sorry if you were disappointed, lounge guests must be 18 or older. We look forward to welcoming you soon."

Denied! Maisie asked back, "Yes.. @British_Airways fully understand that, my question is why? Why can we travel alone but not use the lounge? It makes no sense," but to no avail, even when fellow Brit Ed Sheeran chimed in with, "Ah British airways. You failed again."

I wouldn't be surprised to find Maisie flying Virgin next time ... she said they have the "logical answer" with their policy of "accept[ing] customers from 16-18, but obviously the 16 and 17 year olds can't drink."

Ahh, it's tough to be 17, isn't it?

Do you think British Airways should change its policy to allow 16 and 17-year-old in the VIP lounge?
