Demi Lovato Unfollows Selena Gomez on Twitter & Posts Mean Message

With friends like Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, who needs enemies? The 21-year-old singer has -- yet -- again -- decided her BFF needs to get the boot. She recently unfollowed Selena on Twitter and followed that act of war up with a REALLY nasty message that folks are saying is directed at Justin Bieber's sort-of girlfriend.

Demi and Selena, who have known each other since they were childhood actors on the Barney & Friends show, have admitted that their friendship has hit rocky points and there have been times when the two had to take a break from speaking. And, that's just fine because lots of good friends have moments when they need to step back and appraise where they are and whether the friendship they have is good for them at that point in life.

But most good friends don't post things like this: "Swimming away from the bulls*** bye b****" Assuming this message did exist, it has since been deleted from Demi's Twitter, so maybe she had a change of heart after posting it and realized it was way harsh.

A friend of Demi's claims she isn't interested in letting in more drama into her life and that Selena -- who, like Demi has been to rehab -- is too much of a headache to hang around. And maybe the girl has a point. Don't get me wrong, I love Selena. She comes across as a sweet young lady who, to her credit, thinks before she acts most of the time and takes responsibility for her actions.

But lord, it must be difficult as a friend to stand by and watch her do things like get back together with Justin, who has broken her heart far too many times to count. Someone who does something like that is just begging for drama and maybe Demi is over all of that and ready to move on.

Selena apparently hasn't gotten the message yet or doesn't care because she's still following Demi on Twitter.

It's like being back in high school again, isn't it?

What do you think of Demi and Selena's latest feud? Who is to blame here for bringing on the drama?
