Kate Middleton's Extreme Diet Is Exactly What She Needs

Huh. I guess it's safe to say that the pregnancy rumors that have followed her for weeks are most definitely not true, considering there's a new report saying Kate Middleton is on the raw food diet -- though it has absolutely nothing to do with weight loss.

While the plan is known for helping people shed pounds, supposedly Kate is hoping it will improve her skin tone in addition to keeping her figure slim and trim.

Hmm. Her skin already looks amazing to me, but more power to her for wanting to make it glow even more. And she does have a baby at home, so odds are good she's had a few sleepless nights here and there, which can take its toll on a mom's complexion.

In case you aren't familiar with the raw food diet, it's pretty much exactly what it sounds like. The theory behind it is that uncooked foods retain more nutrients -- basically you eat things in their raw and natural state versus boiling, steaming, microwaving, grilling them ... whatever.

According to the Daily Mail, her favorite dishes so far include watermelon salads, tabbouleh, and ceviche -- and she's digging raw almond milk too. (Yum, yum.)

But don't worry, she's only reportedly sticking to the plan hard-core at least one day per week, so it's not like she's ruling out cooked foods altogether. (Or at least we hope not.)

Plus, you know the chefs over at Kensington Palace whip up some seriously decadent dinners. It would be a real shame to let all that delicious food go to waste in favor of broccoli and celery sticks.

But if this plan is making Kate feel better about herself, she should definitely keep up with it as long as she's reaping the benefits. Anything a mom can do to feel more confident is definitely a good thing!
