Miley Cyrus’ House Robbed & You Won’t Believe What Thieves Got Away With

More bad news for Miley Cyrus. A month after her puppy Floyd died, the singer's Southern California home was robbed. Sadly, this is her second burglary in just seven months. She learned what happened while out on the Swedish leg of her Bangerz tour and, needless to say, she wasn't happy when she found out what the bandits got away with.

On Friday, May 30 at around 4 p.m., the crooks scaled the fence surrounding her home. According to cops, they stole jewelry and her brand new Maserati Quattroporte, a $135,000 sports car.

She posted this on the day she received the news:

"She's extremely upset and a lot of personal items were stolen. She's really shaken up about the whole thing," a friend told Us Weekly.

We feel your pain Miley. Surely, it's not just about losing something so expensive that is eating away at her. It's the invasion of her home -- the one place she should feel safe and secure. And this is the second time. The earlier incident happened in November, a day before her 21st birthday.

Though this all forces one simple question: why doesn't she have better security? Most stars of this caliber live in a fortress for this very reason. But it's not just burglars she should be leery of. I am sure she has her fair share of stalker-types and creepy fans. She needs to take these threats seriously. God only knows what would have happened had she been home.

Are you surprised by how lax Miley's security is?
