'Game of Thrones' Sneak Peek: 'Laws of Gods & Men' Sets Stage for Tyrion's Trial (VIDEO)

Game of Thrones season 4 is already halfway over. Does that just blow your mind or what? With only five episodes left, it's an understatement to say that a lot needs to be addressed. In "The Laws of Gods and Men," episode 6 of what has been a fantastic season, viewers can't help but wonder if there will be a huge fallout from that crazy Lysa Arryn reveal, what's in store for Jon Snow after his badass moment last week, what the Hound and Arya will end up fighting about next, how Daenerys will be able to make peace in Slaver's Bay, how Tommen the new king will deal with the advances of Margaery (and maybe Ser Pounce?), what Cersei's next move is, and of course, how the trial will go for Tyrion.

Ramsay Snow also looks as crazy as ever in the episode's trailer.

Of course, there are SPOILERS ahead if you haven't seen any season 4 episodes yet. You have been warned!

Here is the official synopsis:

Stannis and Davos set sail with a new strategy. Dany meets with supplicants. Tyrion faces down his father in the throne room.

In the trailer, we see Stannis Baratheon meeting with Tycho, who is an envoy for the Iron Bank. We learned last week just how in debt the Lannisters were to the bank, so needless to say, something is brewing with that storyline. And fans know that the Iron Bank is more than willing to fund its rivals if the crown is in debt. Yara, Theon's sister, also makes a return. Wonder what she'll make of the new Reek?

And that shot of Tywin on the Iron Throne -- whew. Things don't look all that good for his son, Tyrion, whom we didn't see at all last week. Let's hope the trial gets started this week so we can finally figure out his fate (since this is Game of Thrones, it's probably not going to be good). At least Jaime has the decency to defend his lil bro.

News of the threat of Daenerys also reaches King's Landing, even though we learned last week she is staying put to "rule." They can all breathe a sigh of relief now, but who knows what kind of stand she will make in future seasons after getting that mess figured out in Slaver's Bay!

Needless to say, the focus this week will most definitely be on Tyrion. Considering we've come to expect favorites to die, if the season ends with Tyrion being executed, it could bring about one of the biggest Game of Thrones outcries and freak-outs to date. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

What do you think is in store for Tyrion at his trial?
