Prince William Is in Hot Water With Kate Middleton Over Something So Innocent

Prince William and Kate Middleton

Uh-oh! Looks like somebody definitely has some 'splainin' to do! Apparently Kate Middleton is upset that Prince William partied like a rock star at his friend Guy Pelly's wedding in Memphis last weekend. I guess we can assume he's crashing on the Kensington Palace couch this week. (Er, one of the hundreds of couches.)

It's a little hard to believe, but supposedly Wills was letting loose even more than Prince Harry. If that's the case, it's understandable for Kate to be less than impressed with his behavior.

According to singer Jimmy Church, who is a member of the band that played at the wedding reception, "William came up on stage in his coat, and me and him were going back and forth doing 'Shout' and then he did it on his own. I was getting down, he was getting down, it was wild man. He was great, he just got the music."

He also added, "They were holding people up in the air and passing them around like they were flying. I've been doing this 50 years and I ain't ever seen anything like this. These guys know how to party."

Dang. Who knew Prince William had such a wild side? I always pegged him for a more subdued kinda guy, but in truth, I guess we shouldn't be all that surprised that he threw caution to the wind and had a good time at the wedding.

Um, can you remember the first kid-free wedding, party, or event you attended after your first child was born? (And I mean one that wasn't in any sort of professional setting ... ) It's almost like busting out of jail or something, because you can finally act like the old, pre-kid version of yourself who was WAY more fun and lively than your new persona.

It's not like he had to get up early the next morning with Prince George, so why shouldn't he have indulged and let his hair down a bit? (That wasn't supposed to be a joke. I swear.)

I guess it sort of makes sense that Kate is worried he possibly made a fool of himself, which is why she's all bent out of shape. But honestly, she should be happy he got a good dose of partying out of his system, which should tide him over for at least the next few months or so. Besides, should parents really be expected to be on their best behavior all of the time?

(Wait. Don't answer that.)

Do you think Kate has a right to be mad at Wills?
