Seth Rogen Hates Justin Bieber More Than You Do

Justin Bieber Seth RogenNow that Justin Bieber is 20 years old and no longer a child, is it okay to say he seems like an awful person? Because he really does. I know he's young and insanely rich and famous and thus he's probably suffering from a tragic case of affluenza, but his behavior is so repugnant, I cannot give him a free pass for being spoiled and immature.

I think my overall regard for "Bizzle" was solidified when I saw his deposition video, but if ever I needed a second opinion about the guy, Seth Rogen has provided us regular citizens with a hysterical expletive-laden description of what it's like to meet Justin Bieber. Spoiler alert: Rogen's not a fan. At all.

Rogen was talking to Howard Stern on Monday, and he described getting introduced to Bieber after the pop star specifically requested some time with him. According to Rogen, Bieber immediately acted like Rogen was the one who'd engineered the meeting:

What the fuck, I don't want to meet you! Don't act all nonplussed to meet me. I didn't want to meet you. I was totally cool with not meeting you. I was like, ‘He's a little bit of a motherfucker.'

Rogen went on to say he's met with Bieber a few times overall, and:

He's a good example of someone who you meet who you think you are going to hate and then you get to hate him as much as you [thought]. You meet him and he lives up to every one of your expectations of how you hope he'll be.

I saw him again at like an MTV awards show, he literally had a snake wrapped around his fucking wrist that he was wearing, like a live snake as an accouterment. I was like ‘What the fuck?' I talked to him for like five minutes. I just remember thinking, ‘Fuck this kid.'

Ha, jeez, tell us how you really feel, Rogen. Okay, I'm enjoying the bitter snarking, but I'm definitely getting the feeling that Bieber maybe came off as a little too cool for Rogen's school, and that's why he hates him so much. Here are Rogen's final comments, in which he slips in a plug for his Neighbors costar Zac Efron:

When I met Zac Efron one of the most endearing things is that he recognized, that as a Disney star or I as a man in my late 20s/early 30s would fucking hate him. Because why wouldn't I? Justin Bieber had zero fucking percent of that. No humility, no awareness, no sense that 'I appeal to young, young people, maybe a grown man who works in comedy doesn't fucking give a shit about me. Maybe I should act in such a way that perhaps this isn't the great experience of his fucking life.'

So it's not really that Justin Bieber did anything that was worth all these F-bombs, it's more that he probably behaved like one of the world's biggest pop stars who was breezing by a non-A-lister he knew very little about, aside from the time he got high and watched Pineapple Express. Still, you have to admire Rogen's passionate distaste for the kid. It would surely be more mature for him to take the high road and quit the trash-talking, but ... yeah, I can't lie, it's entertaining as hell.
