Kim Kardashian's Wedding Dress Choice Shows How Involved Kanye Is in Her Look

Kim Kardashian, Kanye WestKim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding is getting close, you guys! The Parisian affair is just over a month away, which means only one thing. Kim is probably busy getting fitted for her dress in between gym sessions and butt selfies. Hey, someone's got to live the glam life, right?

We already knew Kim wants her look to be sexy (in all fairness, I'm pretty sure she could make a burlap sack look provocative), but now we're treated to some extra details -- like who's going to design her wedding dress.

Er, um, dresses, as the case may be. What, you didn't think Kim was going to be content with only one wedding dress for her big day, did you? Come on. That's absurd.

She is apparently reigning it in though. Instead of three dresses (like she did when she married Kris Humphries in 2011 ... ahh, memories), she's limiting it to two (I'll believe it when I see it).

Neither of them are being designed by Vera Wang, who is said to be tight with the star, and who designed all three of Kim's ivory gowns for her last wedding. Hmmm ... ? Is it a snub? Or just bad juju? I might believe the bad juju one if Kim wasn't wearing a ring from the same jeweler that designed that other one, so obvs that isn't an issue.

Well, whatever the reason, Vera is out, which means ... Riccardo Tisci is in. At least for the second dress. He's the Creative Director for Givenchy, but even more importantly, he's Kanye's good friend. Kanye has apparently had a lot of input into the design of Kim's dress, because he's weirdly controlling about her clothes for some reason.

But what about that all-important walk-down-the-aisle dress?

“She’s actually deciding between a custom Lanvin, and Monique Lhuillier gown,” a source told “She wants to feel like a princess, but have it be form-fitting too. Don’t expect some poofy dress like she wore when she married Kris [Humphries]. Think ultra chic. Kanye is involved in every part of the process.”

Worth noting? Kim wore Lanvin on that Vogue cover. She could favor that designer, or maybe she's just trying to get in good with as many as possible and feels Lanvin has already had a fair share of the wedding dress spotlight. Who knows?

One thing is bound to be for sure -- no matter she chooses, it's going to be stunning.

Do you have any predictions on Kim's wedding dresses?
