Prince George Is Getting a Surprise Gift That Will Be Impossible to Ever Top

prince georgeAs you may have heard, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince George are set to embark on a weeks-long tour of New Zealand and Australia shortly. Naturally, dignitaries and such are clamoring to get things in order for the royal couple and, unsurprisingly, want to have gifts ready for them.

But one gift for the adorable little prince from a city in Australia is going to be hard to top. (And, no, it's not a Crocodile Dundee-style knife. That would be inappropriate.)

Prince George will be getting a six-foot surfboard with the words "Greetings from Manly -- Surf City Australia" emblazoned on it. Adorable!

Manly region's mayor Jean Hay said, "I wanted something that really represented Manly and its people. It will be a nice souvenir for years to come -- maybe they will hang it up in his nursery until he’s old enough to use it." The owner of the surf shop responsible for creating the board added, "We send boards all over the world but I can’t say we’ve made one for Buckingham Palace. I suppose it will become an heirloom -- a real memento."

Being that he isn't even 1, Prince George won't be able to take the board out for quite some time; and being that England isn't traditionally know for its warm and sunny beaches, it probably won't get much use. But a super cute gift nonetheless. And one for the books! Not sure how many toddlers can say that they own a personalized surfboard.

Royals. They get everything, don't they?

How cute is this gift?
