'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' News Isn't What We Expected

Just in case you've been losing sleep over the thought that you might not get your K-Dash fix every week from now on, get ready for a restful evening. Keeping Up With the Kardashians has NOT been canceled and will return for a 10th season, according to In Touch. Ratings have taken a hit, only averaging a couple of million viewers per week, less than half of what it used to get. But E! isn't ready to give up on the staple show yet.

This despite the fact that Bruce Jenner and Brody Jenner have both reportedly said they didn't want much to do with the show anymore -- and even rumors that Kim wanted to quit. My guess is that E! network will give it one more season before pulling the plug, unless ratings improve, which is unlikely.

Every show runs a natural course and even the best of them end.

E! execs are possibly keeping the show on the air with a couple of things in mind: One, Kim and Kanye's wedding should pump some more eyeballs into the pipeline, at least for awhile. And they may be looking to see if Kylie and Kendall can carry the show with thoughts toward a spin-off. (Bring on Jaden Smith and you might have something!) Maybe even Lamar Odom will come back now that he and Khloe are supposedly going to try to make things work. And, hello, Bruce? Don't we want to see what he's going to look like in six months?

In other words, there's still some good stuff that might happen and goose ratings.

So enjoy your 10th season of the Kardashians!

Do you still watch the show? Are you glad it's coming back?
