Taylor Swift Pokes Fun At Her Own Boy-Crazy Ways (VIDEO)

Who said Taylor Swift doesn't have a sense of humor? The singer proved she can totally take a joke at her expense when she recently shot a super funny "For Your Consideration" video. She blows off Scott Borchetta, the founder of her record label, who is attempting to get her to explain why she deserves to win at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards. Instead of defending her talent, Taylor puts him on hold while she paints her nails, plays with her cute kitty, and does what a lot of us assume she's usually doing -- talking about cute boys!

In one hilarious scene, Taylor keeps Scott waiting on the phone while she gossips with a friend about an ex-boyfriend who hooked up with another girl one week later and then vacationed in Italy with her.

"That's a big jump!" Taylor exclaims. "That's a little fast, and I'm saying that." Ahh, to be a young Taylor able to laugh at herself for flying through hot boyfriends like Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, and Jake Gyllenhaal. If you can't make fun of yourself for being a bit flighty in your 20s, what's the fun in being 24?

I know everyone loves to hate Taylor, but I never thought she was all that bad. She's adorable and maybe guilty of acting younger than her age, but that isn't exactly a crime! She's certainly proving here that she can poke fun at herself. It's even pretty funny to think Scott is asking her to make a vid like this one. Taylor's up for an amazing six awards this year, including Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year. She definitely faces stiff competition, so the idea that she would need to state her case to the ACM judges is awesome.

In the vocalist category, Taylor is competing against heavyweights Miranda Lambert, Sheryl Crow, Kacey Musgraves, and Carrie Underwood. For best entertainer, she'll join nominees Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and George Strait. Taylor doesn't typically receive a lot of love at ACM because critics believe she isn't "country" enough. Miranda is viewed as a favorite, but it's anyone's guess who will come out ahead when the show airs on April 6.

For now, let's all have a laugh with and AT Taylor:

Do you think Taylor has a shot of winning at this year's ACM Awards?
