The Sky's the Limit for How Perfect Kate Middleton Is for Prince William

Kate MiddletonWe already knew that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were perfect for each other, but now it’s confirmed even further by science. Or at least by a recent survey of 2,000 adults on the importance of height difference between a husband and a wife.

It turns out that Prince Willam and Kate Middleton are the ideal height difference of five inches. The Duchess may be a statuesque 5 ft, 10 in, but Prince William still stands above her at 6 ft, 3 in.

It’s like a match made in a fairy tale.

According to the survey, 76 percent of women said that height was a factor when picking a partner, and 70 percent of couples were “most comfortable in a relationship where the man was taller.” The preferred vertical gap between male and female partners was between four and six inches.

Even though we’ve come a long way with female equality, it turns out that women still like to feel “feminine and delicate,” and that’s most easily accomplished when her partner is bigger, stronger, and taller than she is.

Come on, what woman doesn’t want to feel “secure and protected” by her man? Or is that my old-fashioned sense of chivalry showing itself again?

What’s your ideal height difference in a relationship, and how much weight does it carry?
