'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Preview Shows 15 Glorious Minutes of Dragons, Weddings & Battles to Come (VIDEO)

game of thrones season 4In case you missed it, on Sunday, the geniuses behind Game of Thrones released an amazing 15-minute preview of season 4 that is a must-watch if you're a fan. And if you're not a fan, you really oughta be. After watching this show for three years, I don't recall seeing this much new footage to tease an upcoming season, but I ain't complaining. In a nice mixture of new material and actor interviews, this video should get you pumped up (and even laughing out loud) in anticipation of April 6.

It looks like Tyrion's smart mouth won't be able to get him out of his latest predicament; Joffrey will finally wed Margaery; Daenerys will find it difficult to rule a city as well as her dragons; the "good guys" will be making a comeback; Jon Snow will need to rely on Sam more than ever; and hopefully Ser Jorah will get to yell out a "Khaleesi!" or two in what should be a fantastic fourth season of television.

The dance that Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime) do down the aisle, psyching up the extras but pissing off everyone else in production, alone makes the video well worth the watch:

Quite a few takeaways from the video, but some surprisingly funny ones as well. Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) cackling about biting some dude's ear off? She was perfectly cast, wasn't she? Everyone giving Joffrey a hard time then cutting to a humble and demure Jack Gleeson, who plays him, just goes to show how talented the young actor is. Also can't wait to see more of Tyrion and Jaime's bromance and if Jaime will continue on the path to further redeem himself. Looks like we'll also get a huge battle with the wildings, and who knows how Ygritte will bounce back after getting betrayed by Jon. We can also only hope for a lot more warging and seeing a lot more dragons. And perhaps Joffrey dying. A video like this only proves just how many characters there are on this show, and they're even introducing some new ones! Namely the Red Viper, Pedro Pascal, who will play an important role in season 4.

Also? Clearly "Hodor" "Hodor" "Hodor?" "HODOR!" wins for most badass quote. Obviously.

What did you think of the 15-minute preview? Anything particularly stand out to you?
