Scarlett Johansson's Banned Super Bowl Commercial Has Nothing on These (VIDEOS)

Scarlett JohannsonDon't get me wrong. I love me some football and love using Sundays as an excuse to eat wings and drink a few cold brewskies -- but I am ALL about the Super Bowl for one major reason: the commercials. I mean, come ON -- what self-respecting Super Bowl watcher isn't? The laughs, the celebrity guest stars. Speaking of which, Scartlett Johansson can't be all that excited for Super Bowl XLVIII's commercial line-up. Why's that? Well, her Soda Stream commercial has been banned by FOX because it ends with her saying, "Sorry, Coke and Pepsi."

Really. Because the two soft-drink giants have been Super Bowl spenders for quite some time now. (Pepsi is sponsoring this year's halftime show featuring Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.)

What, they can't handle a little friendly (and environmentally sound) competition?! Silly. That's what this is. Besides, this Scarlett Johansson commercial has NOTHING on a few banned Super Bowl commercials of years passed. Here, take a look:

First things first, Scarlett's Soda Stream commercial:

PETA's banned Super Bowl commercial from 2009:

Snickers' banned Super Bowl ad from 2009:

Bud Light's banned Super Bowl commercial from 2010:'s banned Super Bowl commercial from 2010: banned commercial from 2011:

I'm gonna be real -- most of those commercials seem pretty unoffensive to me. I do understand the PETA ban (that may be awkward to watch with a youngster in the room), but most of the other concepts? Yeah, I'm not too fazed.

What do you think of these banned Super Bowl commercials? Is FOX too uptight with what they allow on air?
