Jennifer Lopez Sued for Demanding Nude Photos of Guy She Never Met

Jennifer LopezIt must have been pretty stunning for Rodrigo Ruiz when, in 2008, he suddenly got a letter from Jennifer Lopez. First of all, who knew the celeb sent letters? Second of all, J.Lo was apparently very bored, but she went on to demand that Ruiz send her pics of himself -- both clothed and nude. Ruiz, not one to ignore an edict from Jennifer Lopez, complied. Wouldn't you?!

Alas, it seems to have all been some sort of scheme -- and the P.O. Box that Ruiz was sending letters to is actually registered to a 53-year-old woman who is not the shapely singer. Shocking, I know.

None of this, however, has stopped Ruiz from filing a lawsuit against Jennifer, reports TMZ, claiming the letters led him to believe that he was on the verge of a relationship with the star. Because, after all, did ya see him naked?!

"Jennifer" wasn't exactly classy in her letters, writing:

This is Jennifer Lopez and as you can tell its been a while since I last wrote and as you can see I have a new boyfriend which means your in for the long haul and you have to put up with the fact that I am f**king him and sucking his d**k.

Yikes. I wonder what he replied? This could be a whole book of psycho love letters.

Ruiz clearly is either the most gullible man on the planet, or he's not entirely well psychologically, so I feel bad for him. But I also feel bad for stars like Lopez -- this is a drop in the bucket for what celebrities have to deal with. Both Keanu Reeves and Justin Bieber were sued for child support by women they'd never met.

Sometimes makes you wonder if stardom is worth the hassle. Sure, celebs get free clothes and jewels. They're rich. They're fawned over worldwide and get to travel in limos and private jets.

But then they sued by complete strangers for things they never did. Also, makes you wonder why anyone would do this. TMZ couldn't seem to find the answer. J.Lo's rep says she's never communicated with the man. Suuuure, Jennifer! Winkity wink.

I hope Ruiz gets the psychological help he so clearly needs.

Have you ever been catfished?
