5 Reasons a 'Hunger Games' Theme Park Would Rock Our World

katnissFunny thing about most theme parks: They don't really have much of a "theme," do they? Unless you count "standing in crazy long lines all day with the oppressive summer sun beating down on your head so you can go on 30-second roller coaster rides and pay $800 for a soda," that is. I mean, sure, there's Disneyland and Dollywood and probably a couple of others, but you know what I mean.

Anyway. That's exactly why a theme park inspired by The Hunger Games would be so fricken' awesome!! And guess what? You might be buying admission tickets for just such a place in the not-too-distant future!

Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer says the company has been "approached in two different territories about potential theme park opportunities, which gives you a sense of the cultural impact of this franchise.” Feltheimer also said they were “pursuing” those opportunities. And may the odds be ever in their favor! Cause, like I said, a Hunger Games theme park may be just what the world of them parks needs right now. Here are 5 reasons why a theoretical Hunger Games World would rock:

1. Great opportunity to brush up on archery skils.
2. One hell of a monorail. That train Katniss and Peeta rode to the Capitol? Swank!!
3. Hot pictures of Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth everywhere.

4. Cool Katniss costumes in the gift shop.
5. The possibility of seeing your face projected on the sky if you "die."
The only potential problem I can see with Hunger Games World? There probably wouldn't be very many concession stands.
Would you go to a theme park inspired by The Hunger Games?
