Katy Perry Keeps Scariest Thing Ever in Her Purse (Seriously!)

kay perryStars: They're just like us! Except when they're NOT. Take Katy Perry, for example. You might say to yourself, What, Katy Perry? She's just a regular gal. (Who happens to be a bazillionaire pop star with an affinity for uber-colorful costumes.) You know, it's like that song she sings, I'm just a girl, yada yada yada ... no, wait. That's Gwen Stefani. Never mind. Anyway. Point is, you probably think of Perry as somebody you could hang with, right? Like, maybe hit the mall with or whatever. Cause she probably likes to go shopping. BUT. YOU ARE WRONG. She is NOT somebody you can go to the mall with, unless you're into somebody cutting pieces of your hair off for the purposes of making a voodoo doll (one can only assume).

Yeah, that's right. Apparently Perry keeps locks of other celebs' hair in her purse. Tied with tiny little bows. Seriously, she said so herself -- in what might be the most horrifying interview of all time:

When asked what she kept in her purse, the 28-year-old replied that it's "big and empty now," before quickly finding something more interesting to add. "One of the first times I went to the Grammys, I got to share a dressing room with Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift," she explained.

"And I asked them for a lock of their hair from each one of them, which is totally creepy, but awesome."

... Luckily for her, Taylor and Miley both obliged and handed over a section of their locks for Katy to stash in her handbag. "I put little bows on them individually and put them in my purse. And that was my little secret and I'm a freak!" Katy laughed.

Um, YEAH. YEAH YOU ARE A FREAK, Katy Perry!!! I mean, no offense or anything ... voodoo doll-making is a cool hobby, I guess. But one has to wonder ... is there a tiny Miley Cyrus doll riding a wrecking ball somewhere? Is Katy Perry to blame for the biggest twerking disaster in history??

Do you think it's weird that Katy Perry keeps locks of celeb hair in her purse?
