'Real Housewives' Star May Not Have Been the Bridezilla We Thought

adriana de moura If you watched the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Miami, then you bore witness to the anxiety-fest of lateness that was Adriana De Moura's wedding to Frederic Marq. Between Adriana's histrionics, Lisa Hochstein and Marysol Patton's bickering, and Lea Black's all-consuming sadness, it was hard to feel anything other than stressed out while watching the whole deal go down.

I noticed that Adriana's dress was gorgeous and that Frederic's second outfit at the reception was super cool, but I didn't really process any of it. I mean, other than the fact that they hired arguably the worst dude on the planet to saber the tops off of their champagne bottles. But Adriana recently opened up about her special day, and what she had to say was enough to almost make me change my mind about the whole affair.

First off, the stunning and unique look of her gray gown did A LOT of heavy lifting. I'm not wild about asking your guests to all wear white, but in this instance, to offset her gown, I totally get it. Adriana also mentioned that she wanted to encourage a positive energy at the ceremony. I'm not normally down for such hippy-dippy stuff, but in this case it seemed really sweet and heartfelt. I maybe went "awwww."

What else didn't we see at the ceremony? Adriana's son Alex reading a poem and playing a solo on the piano! Break my heart into a million pieces with the cuteness. The fact that she went out of her way to make sure her son from a previous relationship was included in the building of this new family was really a lovely idea. It's almost enough to make me forget that the woman made her guests change outfits and provided no place for them to do that. Almost.

Does this change your mind about Adriana, or do you still quietly think she is totally insane?
