Cindy Crawford & George Clooney Get Too Close for Comfort in Mexico

Cindy Crawford ADAww. Well isn't that just adorable. Cindy Crawford and George Clooney's Mexican villas aren't just right next door to each other, they're actually attached -- meaning they can go back and forth between the two pads and hang out in paradise whenever they please.

Gee. No wonder George can't keep a gal for too long. Cindy and Rande Gerber are an earshot away when he's south of the border, so there's, like, no privacy for ... you know.

Their swanky vacation homes are featured in the new issue of Architectural Digest, reminding us once again that being a celebrity (or at least having the bank account of one) definitely comes with its fair share of perks.

Both homes feature pristine swimming pools, open-air courtyards, breathtaking views, and of course are decorated to look "like an art piece."

And get this one -- they even have a name for their compound, "Casamigos," which means "house of friends." Again ... aww!

Wow. They must really, really like each other, especially considering they initially planned on building one big fat house for all of them instead of going the separate villa route. Huh. That would've been a little weird. I can't picture Cindy and George sitting in the kitchen in their bathrobes and then having Rande walk down the stairs in his. (Too swinger-ish or something.)

I adore my friends and all, but if my family and I are ever lucky enough to own a vacation home? Yeah, I don't want them as neighbors. I want our pad to be tucked away somewhere quiet where we can enjoy peace and quiet and quality time together without our BFFs being all up in our business all the time.

But then again, this is Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, and George Clooney we're talking about. The three of them are probably so darn cool that they can't get enough of each other's company.

Yeah, that must be it.

Would you ever build a vacation home with a friend?
