Kim Kardashian & Kanye West's New Mansion Will Have Toilets Made of Gold

Kim Kardashian mansionWe all knew the $11 million Bel Air mansion they purchased back in January is undergoing some major renovations, but a new report is claiming that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will have gold toilets in their new pad -- presumably because they deserve nothing but the best when it comes to where they do their business. (Why should Kim be expected to sit her famous ass down on regular old porcelain? The horror.)

Supposedly they've shelled out a cool $750,000 for four gold-plated "thrones," which will perfectly complement the six special edition beds Kanye reportedly purchased -- which add up to a total of $1 million.

Sheesh. Million dollar beds and toilets made of gold? How much fancier can this place get?

Well, if you take into consideration rumors that the couple is also outfitting their kitchen with $1 million in Electrolux appliances and a Swarovski-encrusted fridge -- I'd say the home is about as ornate as ornate homes get.

And I can't say that I'm shocked that Kim and Kanye's mansion is going to be a bit over-the-top -- but gold-plated toilets and a bling-bling fridge? Seriously? That seems a little bit extravagant even for them.

They must have more disposable income than we ever imagined, because nobody in their right mind would spend millions on items that are going to literally be crapped in and spilled on. Ok, so I guess I can sort of give them a hall pass for the swanky beds, because I'd pay $1 million to feel like I was sleeping on a cloud if I could afford it too. (Though -- what if baby North has a diaper blowout in the middle of the night while Kim is changing her on the bed? Could happen.)

But toilets made out of gold? That's where I draw the line. Unless they aren't planning on using those bathrooms to ... well, you know -- then they might want to go ahead and buy stock in Lysol for how often they're going to have to clean those things.

As for the appliances -- I'm all for the high-end stuff. But a fridge covered in crystals and a kitchen that costs around $1 million? Is their food really going to taste that much better than if it's cooked on a regular old stove?

If these reports are true, it really seems like they might have their priorities mixed up a bit as to what is important to have in a new home. Either that, or they just can't resist flushing money down their $750,000 toilets every chance they get.

Would you ever spend this much on toilets and appliances?
