Kim Kardashian Slams Paparazzi for Putting Her Life in Danger

kim kardashianKim Kardashian, a little celeb you may have heard of, tends to live her life in the public eye. She's gotten fantastically wealthy and made a (very well-known) name for herself by starring in reality shows, tweeting every mundane detail of her life, and giving deeply personal interviews with pretty much any magazine that will talk to her. But that doesn't give paparazzi the right to basically threaten Kim's life. Kim recently went off on a Twitter rant on how some jerk weed photogs cornered her in her car and said they'd make her life a living hell if she didn't cooperate with them. Whether you like Kim or not, the woman has a point in her rants -- this is not okay. What is wrong with people? It's a frickin' picture of Kim Kardashian, for god's sake.

In multiple tweets, Kim wrote:

"I wouldn't let the paps get a pic of me today & they threatened my life & said if I continue to block shots then they will make my world dangerous to live in! How dare they threaten my life & my unborn child! This has gotten way out of control!"

"Yesterday 4 cars boxed me in. One in front, behind, & one on each side just to have me drive at their speed so they can snap through the window. Its really so scary what they are legally allowed to get away with"

"For years I've always been so gracious. Every shot they take now just isn't flattering & crazy stories get made up, so why would I willingly just let them stalk me & smile for them? Let me enjoy this last month of pregnancy please without threats & being scared to leave my home due to what dangerous thing they just threatened to do to me."

Like I said, Kim has chosen to live her life in the public eye, but still -- there is a line. And these people have crossed it. You don't threaten a woman's life -- a woman who is pregnant, no less -- if she doesn't agree to smile and wave to the camera. Yeah, the paparazzi help pay Kim's bills (and Kim theirs), but this takes things to a new level. I certainly don't think Kim -- or any reality star-cum-celebrity -- is a model citizen. But wow, neither are the men and women who make a living off of photographing her. First a dad drops his daughter to get a pic of Nicole Richie, now this? How low are we gonna go?

What do you think of this?
