Jon Bon Jovi Rips Justin Bieber for His Idiotic Behavior

Justin BieberIt looks like the audience at the Billboard Music Awards isn't the only one who can't stand Justin Bieber. Rocker Jon Bon Jovi called the Biebs an "asshole." I know. How did he read all of our minds? Only Jon wasn't talking about Bieber's pot smoking, his run-ins with the paparazzi, his abandoning a monkey in quarantine, his hoping Anne Frank was a "belieber," or any of the other myriad assholey things that Biebs has done lately. He was talking about the most assholey thing of all -- at least in music circles -- blowing off your fans!

Bon Jovi told the London Evening Standard about Bieber's showing up 40 minutes late for a London concert supposedly due to late night partying:

Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives -- or in that kid's case, 80 minutes of their lives. Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won't be back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It's really not cool -- you're an a--hole. Go to f--in' work!

Yikes, Bieber gives pop stardom a bad name! And Bon Jovi gave him some bad medicine! But seriously, Biebs should listen. His career will be livin' on a prayer if he doesn't shape up soon.

It's one thing to leave a monkey in quarantine or to break up with your girlfriend 50 times -- fans don't care so much about that. But leave them tapping their heels for almost an hour for no good reason and you'll be lucky if they ever come see you again. As one belieber's parent reportedly said after the concert: "We were all fans, and now we hate him."

Bieber should listen to Bon Jovi, who has survived in this incredibly cut-throat industry for 30 years.

This makes you wonder what other music legends could give advice to pop wunderkinds?

Bono to Harry Styles: "Harry, stop being such a slut." Patti Smith to Taylor Swift: "Sooooo what else can you write about?" Stevie Nicks to Carly Rae Jepsen: "You know it takes more than one song, right?" Debbie Harry to Rihanna: "I would have punched him right back."

Do you think Bon Jovi is right?
