Comedian Says John Travolta Is 'Flamboyantly' Gay & She Wasn't Joking (VIDEO)

John TravoltaJohn Travolta has managed to stay out of the press lately. Remember when it seemed like every other week he was being accused of sexual harassment by some masseuse? But then he and wife Kelly Preston had a baby and all seemed to go back to normal (at least normal for them) for awhile. But along comes comedian Margaret Cho to stir the pot again! Margaret starred with Travolta in Face/Off and had some choice words to say about him during a recent comedy routine. And those words had to do with John Travolta's rumored sexuality. Primarily, that he's, ya know, GAY. I know, CRRRRRAZY.

Margaret was hardly being subtle when she alluded to -- okay, not quite alluded to, more like took a sledgehammer to -- John's supposed homosexuality. She said:

I’m going to get in trouble but I’ll just tell you. He is so gay. John Travolta is SO gay. He's not just gay. He doesn't just like men. He is like Oscar Wilde gay ... like Lord Byron gay. That kind of crazy, incredibly flamboyant gay ... I feel bad for him; because I know he would be much happier if he could just come out. But he can’t.

Hmmm. Tell us how you really feel, Margaret! So you're saying he's gayer than Harvey Fierstein? Gayer than Liberace? Just for the record, Margaret, Lord Byron was bisexual. He was totally into women too. (Look it up!)

Anyway, people are angry at Margaret for being so crass and nosing into John's biznit. But she's a comedian. That's what they do. I would have liked to hear how she knows this exactly. What did she see? Anything? I want all the dirty details.

However, the only person who should really care about this would be his wife Kelly -- and if she doesn't care, then who cares? Certainly she's had enough hints by now that if it's true, she probably knows or at least could have looked into it (check his email, Kelly!).

Anyway, something tells me Margaret just blew her chance at Face/Off 2: Face/Palm.

The video below is a lot more racy than what is quoted, so be warned.

Do you think Margaret had a right to say this?
