Kim Kardashian Isn't Afraid to Give Birth but There Is One Thing That Should Scare Her

kim kardashianWith about two and a half months left, Kim Kardashian has finally come to terms with her pregnancy. Kim recently told The Huffington Post: "Now I think I’m past all the awkward phases and stages, and once you feel the baby kick, it’s a whole new experience. I finally really embrace it. I love it now, but it took a minute. It was a lot ... of body changes and stuff." She then mentioned that she's not scared about the actual act of giving birth. "At the beginning, that was what I feared the most, and now, I mean, it’s inevitable," Kim said. "It’s gonna happen -- I’m really not worried or nervous."

True that, Kim. Birth isn't the thing to fear as it doesn't last that long. There's an end in sight. But the sleepless nights and nursing if you're planning on doing so -- that's the stuff to worry about.

When I was pregnant, I was scared of giving birth. I didn't think about the whole being woken up a hundred times a night, or sore, cracked nipples. Birth was on my mind. Having a human pulled out of my vagina. It worried me. But by about day three of being a mom, I realized that that wasn't the thing to freak out over. It was over before I knew it, and looking back on it, the whole thing is a big blur. But operating on three hours of sleep and having a t-shirt be painful to wear -- that was another story. Why wasn't I more worried about that?

Now, I'm not trying to freak you out, Kim. You'll be fine. We're all fine. And you've got your mom and your sisters to help you out. The whole thing'll be great. But I'm just saying, you're right to not worry about the "inevitable" birth. It's the shit after that's going to throw you for a loop.
