Some people think that the Duchess of Cambridge dropped the most subtle of hints that she's expecting baby number four. (She was seen sporting a new hairstyle at Princess Charlotte's first day of school -- always a telltale sign that she's pregnant!) But right now, it appears that Kate Middleton isn't with child. However, it still seems like Kate has babies on the brain.

Are she and Prince William going to go for one more baby?

On Thursday, Kate paid a visit to Sunshine House Children and Young People’s Health and Development Centre in London.

The purpose of the duchess's visit was to educate herself more about an initiative that connects specially trained nurses with first-time parents 24 and younger. The nurses make regular visits from pregnancy until the child is 2 years old.

According to Kensington Palace, Kate was there to “further her research and engagement with the Early Years sector.”

As we all know, early childhood is a big passion of Kate Middleton's and much of her work is focused on ensuring the mental well-being of kids.

In fact, she's so invested in working with families and children that she just concluded a year-long study, along with childhood experts, in the field of early years childhood development.

One of the experts, Kate Stanley, previously told People that Kate “has identified very shrewdly that if you want to tackle the root causes of all mental health then looking at the early years is a great place to be. It is a critical period of of development, lays the foundations for later life for both our physical health and mental health. It’s a natural progression from that interest.”

Stanley added: "[Kate has a] really strong interest therefore in how you can support mothers and fathers in the earliest months of life of a child and during pregnancy in order to make sure that brain architecture was well supported. And a real compassion about the challenges of that and desire to understand the experiences of the families that some of the people around the table work with.”

Impressive! Go, Kate!

Recently, Kate has seemed to be gaining more confidence -- particularly when it pertains to the things that she's most passionate about.

She's even started writing some of her own speeches (how Meghan Markle of her!). On Tuesday, during one of those speeches, she said:  “As a parent, I have learned just how important it is to foster our children’s development, in all areas, not just physical, as soon as they are born.”

And, not surprisingly, Kate isn't just passionate about her work WITH kids, she's also passionate about how she's raising her own.-placeholder

And, not surprisingly, Kate isn't just passionate about her work WITH kids, she's also passionate about how she's raising her own.

Recently, a royal friend told People: “Kate wants to emulate her upbringing, living in the countryside with a close-knit family. She desperately wants that normality for her own kids.”

Will William and Kate go for another? Who knows! Whatever happens, though, one thing is for certain: If Kate's going to do it, she's going to go all in and be as hands-on as it gets.

We bow down.
