Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux’s Wedding Reportedly Delayed -- Uh Oh!

Trouble in paradise? The Daily Mail is reporting that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are delaying their wedding. What was supposed to be a spring bash has supposedly been pushed back to sometime after the summer because the duo apparently can't decide between a small wedding and a larger affair. Hmmm. Anyone buying this?

If it's true -- and that's a big IF -- delays in weddings are never a great sign. I mean honestly, how hard is it to compromise between a big wedding (which reportedly is what Jen wants) and a more "intimate" affair (which is reportedly how Justin rolls). Have a medium-sized wedding, for crikey sake!

That said, the friend who apparently blabbed to the Daily Mail says that the couple are "still madly in love" -- but they just can't decide on their plans. Sayeth this apparent friend:

Jen wants something bigger with all their friends, Justin would just like something a bit more intimate.

Reeeeeally? Justin wouldn't want their friends there? What a grump!

And the friend adds that Jen, who has been busy with her new film Call Me Crazy: A Five Film, is apparently too busy to plan her nuptials. Oh, please. Like Jen can't hire someone for that? Besides, when is she ever NOT busy with a film?

Additionally, Jen doesn't sound like someone who would want to plan a big day anyway. She reportedly said: "[It's] something that will probably come together at the last minute ... [Too much planning] might make me crazy!" And she claims she hasn't picked out a wedding gown yet, saying, "I don't have a dress. I like to be very spontaneous."

I sort of feel like wedding delays -- unless it's because of acts of God like an earthquake or something -- are really just two unsure people dilly-dallying. Let's face it, getting married is a huge, and scary, step. It's normal to get cold feet. It doesn't mean, however, that the couple aren't committed to each other. Maybe they're just not so committed to a wedding.

Then there's a friend of mine who called me a couple of weeks before her wedding date -- I had already bought the bride's maid dress -- to inform me that she and her fiance had pushed back their wedding. No new date was given. Months went by with no word. And then I finally figured out that the wedding was OFF.

Anyway, this could have been something Jen and Justin told their blabby friends so they could get the media off their backs and actually have a wedding in peace.

Orrrrrr. They could be in big trouble. Guess only time will tell!

Did you ever push back your wedding? Do you see it as a bad sign?
