Kristen Stewart Sounds Way Too Psyched About Confirmed 'Snow White & the Huntsman' Sequel

kristen stewart as snow whiteWhen Snow White & the Huntsman premiered last summer, there was a fair amount of anticipation and I'm sure a decent amount of foot traffic in theaters ... But more than the special effects or Charlize Theron's portrayal of the evil, icy queen or Chris Hemsworth's sexy ass or Kristen Stewart's enthraaaalling performance, all anyone could really talk about was Kristen Stewart's supposed cheating scandal. So now that, after months of speculation, a SWATH sequel has been confirmed by Universal Pictures chairman Adam Fogelson, all we're probably going to be able to think and talk about is ... Kristen Stewart's potential for another scandal!

Let's be real -- like anyone's actually all that excited about the movie itself. Pfft! And, oh, Kristen sure seems PUMPED ...

A few months back, she told Indiewire she was "absolutely" on board for a sequel but couldn't discuss it:

It's gonna be f--kin' amazing. I'm so excited about it, it's crazy. The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we're going to make a sequel, and that's very true, but everyone was like, 'Whoa, stop talking about it.' So, no, I'm totally not allowed to talk about it.

Now, she'll likely be given the green light to gush away. And then, we can speculate even MORE on the real reason she's "so excited!" Okay, so, there's no chance Rupert Sanders is going to be involved in this installment. But that doesn't mean that working on it may not cause Robert Pattinson -- and maybe even Kristen, in a way -- a little bit of heartache. All I'm saying is that it's a possibility that it could drudge up some icky or twisted feelings. But hopefully, they're rock solid and waaay beyond that by now and Universal will tap someone totally unattractive and un-British to direct.

The flick is apparently in development for a targeted 2015 release date, so that means filming will likely begin toward the end of this year or early next, right? Guess we'll have to wait 'til then to see how it plays out for Robsten.

How do you feel about the confirmed SWATH sequel? Are you looking forward to it?
