‘RHOA’ Star Phaedra Parks Gets a Spinoff Show That Will Get Old Fast

phaedra parksAnother day, another Real Housewife getting her own show. This time, it's Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, and while who doesn't love Phaedra and her charming Southern drawl? -- enough already, Bravo!

The spinoff, tentatively called Rich People's Problems, will focus on Phaedra's original career as an attorney (as opposed to a mortician or donkey booty workout instructor), and it will follow her around as she sorts out the legal disputes of Atlanta's elite. "Whether it's friends battling over an $8,000 loan or accusations of stolen Chanel handbags ... the rich certainly have an odd sense of what qualifies it as a problem in today's world, and Phaedra will be there to help them sort it all out," the tagline reads.

Oh. Okay.

First, there was Bethenny Getting Married (since turned into Bethenny Ever After), which I admit, although a little nails-on-a-chalkboardy, is still interesting. Then there was Kim Zolciak's Don't Be Tardy. Then there was Vanderpump Rules, which pretty much has zero to do with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Vanderpump, and is more a glamorous version of The Real World, only set in a restaurant. And now this. As much of a Housewives junkie that I am, it's too much. I feel like I live with these people.

When it was just OC and then NY, Housewives was one of those things you couldn't wait for. And when they started adding more cities -- great! Housewives year-round! Works for me! But the four spinoffs are getting precariously close into jump-the-shark territory. I love all these ladies, but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. And four spinoffs is too much of a good thing.

But that said, I'll probably watch the shit out of this.

What do you think of a Phaedra spinoff?
