Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth's 'Serious Problems' Shouldn't Keep Them From Getting Married

miley and liamDespite very convincing, multiple-source rumors of a breakup, the latest buzz on Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth is that they're "working it out." In an ironic twist of circumstance that mirrors another on-again, off-again celeb couple, Liam's back in the U.S. after spending most of the month in Australia, a source tells E! News. Apparently, "there are some serious problems going on, but seeing them together, they do genuinely love each other and they really do want to work it out." Awww!

And yep, that allegedly means the wedding is still on! Liam was even spotted at Miley's house over the weekend, and E! reports that they're tackling their issues -- like the "serious tension" caused by Miley not being the homebody that Liam is. Hey, if that's true, good for them!

If they really do have any chance of making it down the aisle at some point, they're going to have to be willing to deal with their differences and reach some sort of livable compromise. One of 'em may even need to start making some serious sacrifices. Like, sorry, Miley, but maybe you've gotta keep twerkin' it at home instead of out in the clubs? Learn to love the couch a little more and nightlife a little less? Or maybe Liam needs to man up and put on his dancing shoes more often!

The good news is these crazy kids aren't alone. I've never met a couple who was totally in sync in every way. More often than not, she wishes they could cook dinner at home more often, and he's the takeout king, or she loves to go on vacation while he'd rather save every last penny for their retirement. These are the kinds of things that when they escalate can totally land you in couples' counseling ... or splitsville. It's your choice whether or not you're willing to work through it and make changes to make one another happier.

If that's what Miley and Liam are proving they're willing to do, they may actually be built to last after all!

What differences have you and your partner had to work through to make it last?
