Kim Kardashian Reveals She's Gained Almost 20 Pounds This Year
Leave it to Kim Kardashian to get real about this kind of stuff! Over the weekend, Kim revealed that she's gained 18 pounds this year in a video she shared with her Instagram followers on her story, and we've gotta admire her for being so honest. After all -- weight fluctuations are something that everyone deals with, including the Kardashian fam.
In her video, Kim and trainer Melissa Alcantara were at the gym, getting in a nighttime workout.
"I mean, sometimes we fall off and sometimes you really gotta get it together, and this is one of my fallen-off times where I am, I think, 18 lbs. up from what I was about a year ago, a year and a half ago," Kim admitted.
We never would have guessed that Kim had gained weight -- she still looks amazing, like always. But good for her for prioritizing fitness. It's hard enough to go to the gym, let alone at the end of the day!
Last year, Kim was celebrating her weight loss -- and it sounds like she wants to get back to it.
In 2018, she shared that she'd lost 20 pounds after putting in some serious hard work with her diet and workout routine, but now, a year later, she's gained it all back.
This is NBD, Kim. It happens to all of us ... especially around the holidays.
Kim says she's setting a goal for herself by her next birthday.
Considering that Kim turns 40 in October 2020, we can totally see why she'd want to look her best. It's a big birthday!
"To feel good, I just want to get it like, a really good goal weight, and so that means working out at all costs," Kim said. "It's my eating. I work out but it's like my eating. But Melissa and I have a major goal for by the time I’m 40."
Good luck to Kim, but we don't think she needs it.
When this lady puts her mind to something, she always succeeds. We don't doubt that she'll be successful with this, too.
We just hope she knows she looks amazing, either way.
