Bret Michaels’ Latest Meltdown Explained ... in Poison Lyrics (VIDEO)

bret michaelsAww. Poor Bret Michaels. It's gotta sting, being the first person to get fired from the new season of All-Stars Celebrity Apprentice, especially considering the Poison frontman was returning as a past season winner. Even Donald Trump seemed to feel bad about giving Michaels the boot (and how often does The Donald feel bad about anything?). But, as Trump said, “Deep down psychologically, it is awfully hard for me to pick you again as a winner ... you have been a winner, you are a winner, you are great, but you are fired.”

Apparently Michaels was NOT expecting to hear those words, because he reportedly completely "freaked out" when Trump let him go. Meaning he cried and cried! Awww. But perhaps I should let Bret Michaels tell you the sad and sorry tale of his fall from Celebrity Apprentice grace in his own words: Lyrics from a few of Poison's biggest hits.

The Ballad of Bret Michaels ("You're Fired!")

Life ain't no easy ride
At least that's what I am told
Sometimes the rainbow baby
Is better than the pot of gold
You've got to stick it out
Whether you're wrong or right
And you can't give in without a fight

I'm always workin' slavin' every day
Gotta get away from that same old same old
I need a chance just to get away
If you could hear me think this is what I'd say

Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

You see I raise a toast to all of us
Who are breakin' our backs every day
If wantin' the good life is such a crime
Lord, then put me away
Here's to ya

(See how the song ends on a positive note, kinda? Cause you just know Bret's gonna rally!)

Watch him barely keep it together under The Donald's pompous gaze:

Do you think Bret Michaels deserved to be fired from Celebrity Apprentice?
