Kim Kardashian Is 'Ashamed' Of Her Pregnant Body & That's Perfectly Normal

Kim KardashianIt's 100 percent normal for her body to change and grow since she's expecting a baby, and that's why the idea of Kim Kardashian being ashamed of her pregnancy curves is totally understandable.

Recently, Kim posted some pictures of herself from a pre-pregnancy photo shoot to her Instagram account, and because of that, there is speculation that she is trying to remind herself of how hot she was before she got pregnant -- thus making her embarrassed about her new found mom-to-be shape.

Oh yeah, some folks are also assuming Kim's ashamed of her form because she's been spotted at the gym a lot recently. (God forbid she should try and stay healthy and active during her pregnancy.)

Ok, so I guess it does seem a little bit strange that Kim dug out old photos to share online, but honestly, who doesn't do that from time to time? Heck, a few weeks ago, I posted a funny picture of myself and some friends from college simply to reminisce -- not because I wanted a reminder of how cute I used to be in my earlier days.

And let's just hypothetically assume that Kim did post the photos to give herself a bit of a self-esteem boost. Um, that's normal too. Kim is about four months along or so, and I can remember feeling a little bit strange about my body at that point during my pregnancy with my son. It's almost like I lost myself a little bit, because I didn't look like my pre-preggo self, but I didn't look full-on pregnant yet either.

Maybe by sharing pictures of herself from a time when she felt her best, Kim feels better about the way her body is changing now, and she knows what she'll have to look forward to getting back to after she has her baby.

As for the gym thing -- good for her for keeping up with her workouts. If you exercise during your pregnancy, it's supposedly easier to shed the baby weight after, so it's no wonder she's been hitting the gym whenever she can.

Bottom line -- Kim looks great, and her pregnancy body is nothing she should be ashamed of. And even if she is freaking out over her weight gain a little bit, I just hope she knows that every single pound is more than worth it for the bundle of joy that is coming her way this summer.
