How to Avoid a Wardrobe Malfunction: A Helpful Guide for Celebrities

Anne HathawayNot much about life is certain, but there's one thing you can always count on --

Celebrity crotch shots.

By now, you've all heard about Anne Hathaway's unfortunate wardrobe malfunction and her elegant response to Matt Lauer's leering, ogrish questions about the incident.

I love Anne and I want to keep this kind of thing from happening to her or any other starlet ever again.

That's why I've developed this helpful guide, designed to prevent celebrity wardrobe malfunctions. Check out my tips after the jump, and then feel free to share it with your celebrity friends. They need all the help they can get!

1. Wear underwear. I know, I know. Underwear just SCREAMS, "I am an ordinary human being," but there's a reason we wear it, Anne dear, and one of those reasons is to keep our private parts private, particularly when sporting a dress that's slit to the thigh.

2. Wear a shirt. Celebs seem to love wearing jackets with absolutely nothing underneath. (LeAnn Rimes and Selma Blair, I'm looking at you.) While the look is ... interesting, don't be surprised when photographers get a stray boob shot the moment you lean forward. Instead, WEAR A SHIRT and avoid the trouble altogether.

3. Wear a bra. Believe it or not, there were COMPETING wardrobe malfunctions at the Les Miz premiere. Ellie Golding went braless in a sheer white dress, and as a result, I now know a lot more about her than I ever wanted to. Ellie, if your dress seems a little too low-cut for a bra, there's always my favorite bra alternative: Dimrs.

4. Wear pants. Lena Dunham is one of several celebrities who apparently believes that making it in Hollywood gives them the right to leave their pants at home. I disagree. It's always a good idea to wear bottoms with a top ... unless you are shopping at Walmart, and then all bets are off.

I hope that this guide offers some help to celebrities in need. I am tired of watching them suffer and only want to help.
