Rob Kardashian Shouldn't Have to Worry About Being Skinny Like His Sisters

rob kardashianI don't know how those Kardashians do it. For serious. I could never, ever in a million years be in that family. The pressure, dear god, the pressure. Surely, all that scrutiny and kompetition among one another would cause me some sort of mini-breakdown, or put me in therapy for years, at the very least. Every day is like a g.d. photoshoot over in Kardashianville. Everyone's always in full hair and makeup, there's nary an elastic band in sight, and I challenge you to find a Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode where somebody isn't eating a salad. Too much.

So, poor Rob. Dude just wants to be, well, a dude. But even he's got to worry about scrutiny of microscopic-levels every time he's out in public. If he gains a few pounds, he's fair game for the tabloids like the rest of the fam.

No thanks.

Rob recently stepped out looking, I guess, bigger than he usually does. And of course, the paparazzi was there to both capture it -- and caption it.

I'm not saying it's okay for Rob to gain weight because he's a dude, while the ladies of the K-dash family should stay fit and trim all the time -- not at all. But I am saying that, well, Rob doesn't really seem to be as into the public eye as his more eager sisters do. He's sort of famous by default. And of course with his fame comes the critiques.

Men obviously have concerns over what they look like, just like women do. They think about their weight and their beer bellies, etc. But, I think we can all assume that females spend far more time obsessing over their bodies than males -- and part of the reason for this is because the media loves them some skinny ladies.

So, it sucks for Rob that he's now the subject of weight scrutiny, too. Not because "men should be exempt", but because, like I said, he really doesn't seem to care too much about being famous. (And Kris doesn't seem to care too much either.)

I think he's a handsome chap either way. And if he wants to eat a cheeseburger and fries, I say go for it, dude. And that doesn't just go for him, that goes for all the Kardashians.

Do you ever feel pressure to be "skinny"?
