'Pitch Perfect' Star Rebel Wilson's Dream of Rapping With Ellen Comes True & It's Hilarious (VIDEO)

Remember her as Annie's insane roommate? Who stole her diary and spilled peas all over her back? Soo nuts! And although Rebel kinda faded into the background with the promo of that film, it's her time to shine.

While on Ellen to promote her new movie Pitch Perfect, the funny actress told her host, "I did once have a dream that I rapped with you. Like a double act. I had a great act with my sister. She’s kind of fallen off the wagon ... Gotten a job, she’s not so gangster anymore. I had a dream that I just rapped with you and the audience just went crazy." And obviously, that's exactly when the crowd went crazy and the two hit the stage to do their own rendition of Salt 'N' Pepa's "Shoop"!

Now, if you were over 10 years old in the '90s, there's a pretty strong chance you and your friends memorized the now-classic rap lyrics to Salt 'N' Pepa's hit "Shoop." (Probably also "Whatta Man" and "Push It.") You know a tune's timeless when we can flawlessly spit it out off the top of our heads however many years later, right? ("Here I go, here I go, girls, what's my weakness? MEN! Okay, then ...") Turns out, Ellen and Rebel are also super-well-versed on the track. Check 'em out ...

Hilaaarious! And also, I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking Rebel is totally the next It Girl. She really seems to have her own brand of in-your-face funny meets quirky that we haven't seen from any other female comedians lately. I love it -- and can't wait to see more where this performance came from.

How awesome is this duet?! Will you be seeing Pitch Perfect?
