Nicki Minaj Thinks You're Dumb for Misunderstanding Her Romney Lyrics

Nicki MinajHey, remember when Nicki Minaj "endorsed" Mitt Romney by rapping, "I'm a Republican, voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy bitches is f**kin' up the economy" in a Lil Wayne release and everyone was like hold up, are you for real or are you just messing with us? People managed to get so fired up over Minaj's lyrics, she was receiving death threats via Twitter -- but she never confirmed whether or not she was sincere in her support for Romney.

Until now, that is. Apparently President Obama was savvy enough to grasp the delicately nuanced complexity of her message -- or at least voice his confusion over whether or not she was actually being serious in the song -- and Minaj has publicly thanked him for his "understanding."

Well! Thank goodness this has all been cleared up! I can't think of a better use of the President's time than dissecting Nicki Minaj lyrics, can you?

Obama was doing an interview with Orlando radio station power 95.3 when he was asked about Minaj's pro-Romney lyrics. Oddly enough, he actually had an opinion on the matter:

Yeah, I'm not sure that's actually what happened. I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there.

Once Minaj heard about Obama's comment, she posted the following to Twitter:

Gosh, Nicki Minaj, it must be so incredibly rewarding to be in a position where your political voice is heard by millions and then use your platform to say something you don't even mean during an election year! I can't even imagine how amazing it must feel to know that as an artist, you sent such a powerful message to the public. <--- Creative humor and sarcasm.

Anyway, yay for Nicki Minaj for getting the President to comment on her little song and all, but it looks like she'll have to work harder to add the First Daughters to her fanbase. According to Obama,

I don't think they really listen to Nicki Minaj that much.

Aw, too bad. I could really see Sasha and Malia bopping around the White House to some of Minaj's tunes, like this wholesome romantic ditty she sang with Chris Brown:

It ain't your spit game, it’s your dick game
That got me walking ’round ready to wear your big chain
I only argue wit 'em when the Lakers on
Other than that I’m getting my Marc Jacobs on
When my pussy game so cold that he always seem to come back

What do you think of Nicki Minaj's "creative humor and sarcasm" in her Romney song?
