Cuba Gooding Jr. Sought by Cops After Alleged Bar Meltdown

cuba goodingCuba Gooding, Jr. is a wanted man! Police want to speak to the Oscar winner after he allegedly shoved a bartender twice during an argument at a New Orleans bar.

Cops say Gooding -- in town filming a new flick -- was hanging at a watering hole on Bourbon Street with some pals when a couple of customers asked to take photos with him. Apparently, the Men of Honor star wasn't in the mood to play nice and caused a fracas.

When the bartender tried to calm him down, that is when she says the actor pushed her. She then reportedly told Gooding he needed to leave and he pushed her again. Police issued a battery arrest warrant, but the actor has not been arrested and his lawyer has been in contact with the cops.

Please don't tell me this is yet another star getting ready to go over the deep end. I am still trying to erase the tiger blood stained memory of Charlie Sheen's meltdown. But I can't imagine the typically sweet-seeming Gooding going that route. Perhaps he just wanted a relaxing night with friends after a day of shooting? Or had a particularly bad day. Still, that reaction seems a bit over-the-top, doesn't it? He could have just walked out of the bar. Though, at this point in his career, he should be glad fans are clamouring to hang with him. He hasn't had a huge big screen hit since Jerry Maguire and that was like 16 years ago.

Are you surprised by Cuba's reaction?
