Lamar Odom & Khloe Kardashian's Fate Is Still in Limbo

Lamar OdomThings keep getting more and more interesting for Khloe Kardashian, especially now that Lamar Odom could potentially be traded to the L.A. Clippers -- but is there a chance that he could be picked up by the Utah Jazz instead?

It's been rumored for a couple weeks now that Lamar will likely wind up back in his old stomping grounds in Los Angeles, but a deal with the Clippers hasn't been finalized yet.

ESPN is reporting that "the Utah Jazz have emerged as the potential third team in the Los Angeles Clippers' ongoing trade discussions to acquire Lamar Odom from the Dallas Mavericks."

And when I first read that, I had to laugh a little bit because I immediately pictured Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom trying to adjust to life out in Utah, and somehow it gave me visions of them doing a new season of their reality show shooting scenes in a restaurant where they were surrounded by appalled onlookers who have no idea who the Kardashians are. And somehow I just don't think that any of the Kardashians would be very successful at "taking Salt Lake City."

But after reading between the lines a little more closely, it looks like Khloe & Lamar won't have to worry about becoming "Utah-ers." Apparently the Jazz will be part of a three-team trade with the Mavericks that would move Lamar over to the L.A. Clippers and Mo Williams to the Utah Jazz.

In order for the deal to go through, Mo Williams has to agree to sign a 1-year deal with the Jazz, which would then let the Mavericks trade Odom to the Clippers without having to take back any of his salary.

But if Mo decides that Utah isn't the place for him, the Mavericks will be forced to buy out Lamar Odom's contract, which will in turn make him a free agent -- with no team to play on yet again.

Good grief. Will Lamar and Khloe ever permanently settle down so they can start a family?

If Lamar becomes a free agent, which team would you like to see him play for?
