Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Are Finally Taking a Break From Each Other

Robert Pattinson & Kristen StewartIt's pretty rare for anyone to say the name Robert Pattinson without using Kristen Stewart in the same sentence, but for crying out loud -- these two are in dire need of some time apart. Am I the only one who's getting a little sick & tired of hearing the name "Robsten"? (They are two individual people, you know.)

And thankfully, it sounds like even they are feeling the need to get away from each other for a little while. Robert Pattinson was recently spotted out partying with the boys -- and Kristen was nowhere in sight. (Hallelujah.) Instead, she was catching a plane to Australia for the premiere of her new movie, Snow White and the Huntsman.

Though some girls would probably be pretty worried about flying to another continent and leaving their boyfriend behind to let loose & partake in L.A. nightlife, giving Rob his space and some time to hang out with the boys is essential to the success of their relationship.

Couples who spend every waking moment together run the risk of getting sick of each other, and when that happens, things inevitably fizzle out. They've been hot and heavy for quite a while now, and between living together and working together for so long, it's understandable for them to want to spend time with other people and live their own lives.

And aside from having their own social lives apart from each other, there's the whole "absence makes the heart grow fonder" thing. As cliche as it sounds, it really is true. (I secretly look forward to my husband going away on business, just so I can miss him.)

Being on opposite sides of the world is exactly what Robert & Kristen need to make sure they keep the spark alive and continue moving in a positive direction with their relationship.

Do you and your husband make sure to get time apart from each other?
