Kim Kardashian 'Levels' Oprah With New Information About Her Divorce From Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian and Oprah WinfreyShe's never been one to keep up with the Kardashians before, but Oprah Winfrey caught up with the entire infamous crew this week. In an interview that will air Sunday on Oprah's Next Chapter on her OWN network, Winfrey chatted with them about their fame, family dynamics, and even what drove the divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

In an obvious ratings ploy, Winfrey wrote on her blog today: "Everyone who’s asked was the marriage a publicity stunt? Why did she leave after 72 days? Her answer leveled me.”

Leveled her ... hmmm? Okay, yes, I must admit that piques my interest. Would KK really spill to Oprah anything she hasn't said before? I have my doubts, but she is Oprah, and Kim seems smitten with her.

Kim tweeted yesterday: "Ummmm no big deal Oprah just left my moms house! #dreamcometrue" Then today she posted the above picture of her and Oprah with a tweet that said, "Oh just me & !!! Can't wait for you to see "Oprah's Next Chapter" this Sunday!"

For her part, Oprah said she'd never even seen one of the Kardashian shows before (which I find hard to believe), and she had to "kram" by watching a whole bunch of them prior to the interview. On her Facebook page, she said she "genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon?"

Why do so many people love to watch their every move and why do so many others love to hate them. Are they completely ego centered? Are they really "famous for being famous" or is there something more?

I "GOT IT" ... those answers +more. Those of you who watch the show know they hold nothing back. This interview I'd say was another level of forthrightness and honesty. Who surprised me the most? Scott. Lamar and Khloe. Kim.

Oprah and Scott Disick together -- that I have to see.

No offense to Oprah, but I haven't watched a single show on OWN since she launched it. Honestly, nothing has grabbed my attention, and based on ratings reports, I'm not alone. This interview, however, seems worth watching, and with hordes of Kardashian fans (and haters who still watch their every move), it could be a huge draw for the network. I don't know that the Kardashians can save an entire network, but I bet they'll at least make plenty of people finally figure out which channel OWN is on in their area.

Will you watch Oprah's Kardashian special on Sunday?
