John Mayer Disses Taylor Swift Now & Proves He'll Never Stop Talking EVER

john mayer taylor swiftRemember that time John Mayer moved to Montana to take a break from the spotlight? He grew out his hair, started wearing things made out of silver and turquoise, and went on Ellen to talk about his transformation from an over-sharing jerk to a down-home country man who's grown up and learned a few lessons. Thing is, those lessons didn't really stick. Now that he's back in the limelight, the "Shadow Days" singer decided, once again, to talk to the press about an ex-girlfriend. This time around, John Mayer's talking about Taylor Swift, and what he has to say is the scummiest bunch of crock I've seen since I left three-bean chili in the slow-cooker on a windowsill for five months.

Mayer opened his trap to Rolling Stone and talked about how saaaaad he was when ex Taylor wrote that song called "Dear John." He was weally, weally upset, you guys:

I never got an e-mail. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down ... As a songwriter ... I think it's kind of cheap songwriting. I know she's the biggest thing in the world, and I'm not trying to sink anybody's ship, but I think it's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, "Wait till he gets a load of this!" That's bull––––.

Hmm. I guess that "violent crash" into adulthood didn't really teach him anything about by letting things go and, you know, NOT TALKING ABOUT YOUR EXES IN THE PRESS. I mean, playing the victim and then calling Taylor's songwriting cheap is just so low, and worse, so unaware.

Unless you consider that new cowboy hat of his a success, I'd say John's time away from Hollywood was all for naught. He didn't learn his lesson. He came back to California and fell right back into his pattern of irrational behavior.

Just goes to show you can take the boy out of L.A., but you can't take the L.A. out of the boy.

What do you think of John Mayer's remarks about Taylor Swift?
