Bar Refaeli & Other Surprises on 'Maxim's 2012 Hot 100 List (VIDEO)

Bar RefaeliCongratulations to model Bar Refaeli who has come in at number one on Maxim magazine's 2012 Hot 100 list. There's no doubt she's hot, smokin', sizzling, gorgeous, beautiful, and all of the above -- TSA agents can't even resist her for god's sake -- but it's slightly surprising that she came in first on the list given that this is the first year in which readers were asked to cast their votes.

Much like last year's winner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Refaeli (who was number six last year) isn't a big-name star. While she's famous for her modeling and dating Leonardo DiCaprio (don't you wonder what he's thinking/regretting now?), she's not a household, blockbuster name. But she is hot, and that's the name of this game.

She seems stunned by the news and truly honored. Upon winning she tweeted, "So happy and honored to be #1 on #Maximhot100! thank you @maximmag! "This is very exciting!"' Of her win, editor Dan Bova, told the Detroit Free Press:

She is a familiar face, but she is a little bit unexpected. She's at this incredible level right now where she's about to become even bigger.

Other interesting choices include Amanda Knox, who came in at number 92 on the list, Family Guy cartoon character Lois Griffin who came in at number 85, and JWOWW of Jersey Shore who came in at number 74 -- ahead of Pippa Middleton (number 81)! Oh, and somehow Stephen Colbert came in at number 69.

The rest of the Top 10 includes:

2. Olivia Munn

3. Mila Kunis

4. Katy Perry

5. Olivia Wilde

6. Jennifer Lawrence

7. Emma Stone

8. Megan Fox

9. Malin Akerman

10. Adrianne Palicki

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley moved down 10 spots to number 11; and Beyonce, who topped People's Most Beautiful list, doesn't appear on it at all. All of which goes to show that sometimes you're hot ... and sometimes you're not.

Here's the entire list in under 100 seconds. See what you think.

What do you think of this year's Maxim Hot 100 list? Did readers get it right?
