Demi Moore made her buzzworthy return to the online world on Monday when she tweeted a photo of herself along with the message "Testing…", but for any fans who were a tiny bit disappointed by the ho-hum image she shared (celebrities recline in bed with their glasses on—they're just like Us!), her glam public appearance on Tuesday surely made up for it.

This was Moore's first official appearance since getting out of rehab, and she must have known all eyes would be on her. Since leaving treatment, she's been staying completely off the radar, first disappearing on an undisclosed vacation, then lying low at her LA home.

So how did Moore look last night? One word: AMAZING.

Moore was at a private Beverly Hills party to celebrate the launch of her close friend Amanda de Cadenet's TV show, The Conversation, which Demi executive produces. Cadenet's Lifetime interview show launches on April 26, and she says her friend Demi was not only integral to making the show happen from a production standpoint, she was an inspiration for its content:

The conversations that [Demi] and I have on a daily basis really reflect the questions on the show. She was a great sounding board. The spirit of the show is about women supporting one another so [working with her] was great.

I'd been doing these interviews for about a year and Demi is one of my best girlfriends and a great sounding board for me. She's got 10 years on me, and so she is more ahead of me in the game of being a woman. She is an amazing resource for me, and so she has a vast life experience that I love to experience and to hear. (…) at a point that it became a reality and looked like it could actually go on TV, Demi said, 'Listen, Lifetime wants me to do something with them, but I want to do it with your thing. I really believe in what you are doing. (…) She is really enjoying going behind the camera, she's a really good director...She's not someone that's like, 'Oh I can't make that phone call.' If she's on she's on, she's in. She doesn't do things half-arsed. It was great to have her involved.

Moore's appearance last night was a far cry from the unhealthy, hollow-cheekboned wraith we've seen all too many photos of in recent months. Her face looks filled in and glowing, and it seems like she's gained a few much-needed pounds. She had a confident smile and generally looked like a million bucks—which maybe gave her the boost to post her next Twitter update:

Aw yeah. Demi Moore is back, and something tells me she's going to be way better off without that Kutcher albatross. (The name AND the cheating sleazebag husband, that is.) It's awesome to hear that she's involved with a project that means something to her personally, and that she may be embarking on a rewarding phase of her career that's behind the lens rather than in front of it.
