Kate Winslet Reveals Her True Feelings About Celine Dion Song

kate winsletYou know what I've always loved about Kate Winslet? Girlfriend tells it like it is. If she's looking a little too perfect on a magazine cover, she's like, Yeah, that was photoshop. Ask her about what it's like doing a nude scene in a movie and she's like, Yeah, it's all about trying to hide the saggy boobs.

So I wasn't surprised to hear Winslet confess her true feelings about Celine Dion's Titanic anthem, "My Heart Will Go On."

Nope, not surprised at all to hear that the most overplayed song ever makes her "want to throw up."

But I was thrilled, in a snarky kind of way. Yay! Finally Kate Winslet said -- out loud -- what so many of us have been thinking for years!

Look, I'm not trying to be harsh ...

I have vivid memories of seeing Titanic on the big screen, way back when, sobbing silently as Dion's ode to endless love played over the rolling credits. Because, sigh, Leonardo DiCaprio totally reminded me of this one guy I was dating ... but we broke up and he moved away ... and I may as well have just let him drown in the freezing cold ocean, boo-hoo-hoo!!! I believed that our love would go on!

Anyway. What were we talking about? Oh yeah. Kate Winslet. It's the rare celeb who's as frank and forthright as that gal, and even fans of "My Heart Will Go On" can appreciate that.

And not for nothing, but I'm willing to bet Celine Dion is pretty damn sick of that song, too.

Tell the truth:

Does "My Heart Will Go On" make you want to throw up?
